Can you explain to me how Die Deterioration can leave double and triple imprints,I'm picturing Die Deterioration being a die that is reaching the point of non repairable, therefore I'm having a hard time with the minting process and Die Deterioration and how the deteriorated die can produce the extra imaging again thanks for looking, and I understand Machine Doubling ,kind of but how different is Die Deterioration different than Machine Doubling ,is it the appearance of the field either being separated like mine or step like actually being connected to the field images like steps on the Lincoln memorial thanks again is there no value in DDD coinage is it not considered a mint error of some kind

Voided out my comment. It does look more like Die Deterioration on the LIBERTY area. So it is probably the same all around. I saw no images of the date. It probably also show there also. (seems like it starts there first)
