It is when they are enlarged even larger, that you can see a doubled die, or a normal coin. IE: Here are images of some of the doubled dies compared with normal large date cents: Die 2 with a normal large date devices: On this set, the top on is a normal large date copper cent: The lower three are doubled dies. WDDO-001,004,005 Compared with the small date note how the devices are different sizes, the busts are different sizes and the location of LIBERTY is also different, along with the dates: Report this Post to the Staff
