Wow, you guys really know your stuff. Could I get your opinions on my coin? My grandmother gave this to me 1 month ago. Weighed it on my kitchen scale, it's 27g. It's not magnetic but it also doesn't look or feel like it's silver either.

Other than that, there are 2 indentations, 1 between the words "Kiang" and "Nan" and a 2nd between and under the words "Nan" and "Province." Not sure if these are counterfeiting imperfections or natural blemishes on the coin.

Would love to hear your educated opinions, thanks! - Dave

Is it 40mm dia, 2.5mm thk and 27g on a more accurate scale?
Can well focused pictures be posted?
Apart from saying if genuine or not, the two sides match and it resembles an 1898 dollar.
