1921 Large S Morgan And Polished Face

jungliston1 Valued Member United States 305 Posts	Posted 12/20/2018 06:14 am Hello all, wondering your thoughts on this 1921 S. Is this a large S? Another question is about the face. Has anyone seen this type of polishing on the face. Also, has what looks like retooling around the chin, jaw and neck. Thought is was fake, but not sure. Thank you for the help. Edward M. westernsky Pillar of the Community United States 7613 Posts	Posted 01/05/2019 12:46 am Can you post a picture of the full obverse and the full reverse of the coin? I've never heard of a large "S" vs a small "s"mint mark on a 21-S Morgan dollar, either. Every 21-S Morgan I've ever encountered had a small s. It is one of those coins that once you see the reverse there is no need to flip over the coin to check the date. You KNOW exactly what the date is. I'm guessing your pictured coin is counterfeit.
