kitty karma must have been with me somehow tonight; I hugged a lot of cats yesterday. i was riding home after 2am with a mere thirty cents in my pocket-- ten zincolns, a dime and two nickels, one of them a new 2024-P nickel (see the 2024 US coins In Circulation thread). right after picking that new nickel I pedaled out of the winn-dixie plaza parking lot and along the way home I stopped to check my favorite ice machine's coin return, which yielded seven quarters.  then somewhere along the rest of the way I picked another quarter and another dime from the street, giving me $2.40 on the night. my last $2+ night was april 28th ($3.72). cycle 17 trundles along at $205.77.  |

tonight I discovered a wild buck nesting under a bush:   i had just fed the kitty and spotted it as I was leaving. it was a quick and easy capture, so kitty karma strikes again, which means I've picked a wild buck on two consecutive Sundays... $1.65 on the night. I picked $10.22 last week, my best week since mid-march ($12.00) and I've picked $12.59 so far this month, so I'm cruising at a little above the average. the cycle sits at $212.89, with many weeks to go until black friday.
