Nice find, Mr Pink! I really like the design of the current Colombia 100- and 200-peso coins! Strangely, a year or so ago I picked up a 100-peso coin just down the road from where I live in England.

Quote: I picked up a 100-peso coin just down the road from where I live in England. how cool! you just never know what you'll find or where or when. always best to be ever-vigilant. i had hot dog stand duty tonight. at a little after 2am as we were breaking everything down to put away I squatted down to the sidewalk to remove the chock blocks from under the stand's wheels and there on the sidewalk directly under my face was a folded-up five bucks! I had my gloves on and didn't want to pause for a pic, so I just snatched it, pocketed it and didn't miss a beat with my chores, kept on moving. that's the critter. i took that pic once I returned to my place. that's my first five dollar bill this year and that score also makes five bucks found twice in the same week (i picked 20 quarters from those two water machines monday night), crashing through the $330-mark in style. i picked a meager thirty-three cents along the route, so $5.33 in total tonight. 4 weeks and 5 days until black friday.

hopefully i'll find more tonight! last night Dana (hot dog lady) picked this off the sidewalk in front of the hot dog stand and gave it to me: someone lost their money clip. I asked her what she did with the stack of benjamins it held and she cackled 'i wish!' at me.

dunno. the part on the reverse that says '1 oz fine...' is covered by the clip, looks like it was glued. AGE design, kinda cheap, lotta wear. silver dollar-sized, but I don't know what it's made from. I don't particularly want it, either, so i'll have to find someone to give it to. or maybe i'll just leave it somewhere along my route and let someone else find it.

yeah, I saw the "1oz printing on it, but the wear on it exposed the core, and it don't look like silver to me.
