the first find of the night, a wild buck trying to camouflage itself in the leaves.

$2.23 on the night. because of the fireworks I only saw 3 of the 12-13 kitties. after I post this i'll walk over to washington street (2 blocks away) looking for the usual first 3 kitties that I feed each night. they were no-shows around midnight, so maybe i'll find them now that it's after 2am, it's rained on and off since about 1, so the fireworks in the neighborhood streets have been quashed.

i have been doing the hot dog stand for a year now. dana gave me a thank you gift bag with a sack of candy (for me) and a pouch of kitty treats (for all my kitties). Mr. Pink gets the bag, since he can't have the candy or treats (after he inspects everything, of course).

because of that I decided to have a very short night. I didn't put very much time or effort into hunting for coins & currency tonight, but still ended up with $1.15.

i think that's the 12th dollar I've picked off the ground this year.

i picked a total of $3.74 tonight, all well-scattered change, including eight quarters from an ice machine coin return. my first $3+ night in many weeks.
