i met a young local woman with a doggie one night at the hot dog stand over the summer. she walks her dog at night up and down duval street because the dog has a knack for finding lost FRNs. that's just another reason why I don't search duval street for dollars. dog snout on the sidewalks is a far superior search method than OWG using declining ocular method six feet above the sidewalk. if my competition on duval street includes a moneyhound, the moneyhound wins.

Quote: despite a displaced vertebrae. difficult getting around the past 24 hrs. Ouch! take care of that back - glad it is a bit better. Bugs Zincoln... sounds like a character name, doesn't it? like a wise-guy wannabe, a barnacle on the mafia's caboose. someone's annoying cousin.
i digress.
I'm being priced out of any metals purchases. maybe for the best. still, I have to turn in all of my street money eventually. I might've turned it all in months ago had I known gold was gonna rocket the way it has. well, i'll make the best of it when I'm able. not there yet.

" Zincoln" (slander) refers to the US mint's practice of producing Lincoln cents from a planchet with a zinc core, plated by a thin coat of copper (started in 1982) ... the result are coins who's surfaces frequently deteriorate, leaving a fairly ugly appearance ... hence the 'Zincoln' reference used by cent collectors who prefer the older 95% copper coin (myself included) ... ..."B U G S" (Beyond Uranus Grading Service) is my own created (non-existant) coin grading service, as a (light hearted) jab at the Third Party grading services ... strictly satirical content ..

Quote: B U G S" (Beyond Uranus Grading Service) is my own created (non-existent) coin grading service, as a (light hearted) jab at the Third Party grading services ... strictly satirical content a-ha, I was thinking that or something similar. thanks for enlightening me. I understand The Zincoln well enough, but you nearly had me with BUGS. now that I know, I kind of want one, a BUGS-slabbed coin. I find loads of zincolns that are potential BUGS specimens, but yours looks especially bugged.
