Excellent harvest, MrPink! Every day I'm hoping that when I read your latest entry it will have a picture of the elusive satchel, but it all adds up - to PMs!
Inordinately fascinated by bits of metal with strange markings and figures

I continue to try to manifest it. ...and yes, it all adds up, even without the satchel. last night's quarters topped-off a full roll and I need just 1 more nickel for another full roll, which means I'm soon adding $12 to this year's pile, bringing this year's total up to... $796. by golly, I am going to crack the $800-mark. I am about 15 dimes away from that. let's step into the back room here at FPS for a moment. that is my very simple operation. when the tubes fill, I wrap a roll of coins and add it to a bank bag. easy peasy. the tube of zincolns is full. i'll wrap a roll, but I won't add it to the bag until I have another, keeping the total in rounded dollars instead of fifty cents.

i forgot to mention: thursday night I picked just sixty-three cents, but I also scored two cans of Busch light beer. someone left them atop a garbage can in the winn-dixie parking lot. they went home with me and I turned them over to my neighbor buddy in the man-cave (garage). I'm happy to say that tonight over-performed. after finding & feeding all of my street kitties I did my usual ride-around nabbing coins and somewhere along the way I scored a 16.9oz bottle of spring water. on the back-end of the route, I had ninety-seven cents in my pocket when I retrieved two quarters from an ice machine coin return, boosting my total to $1.47, with just a few places left to ride through & examine. next stop was a pair of air-vacs. when I rolled up to the first one I spotted this: it looked to me to be a jar from a dispensary. I was right. an Electric Lettuce jar, but that's not what was in it: it was full of coins. I counted it when I returned to my place: 35 quarters, a dime, 2 nickels and a zincoln-- $8.96. added to the $1.47-- $10.43. so tonight I wrapped a roll of zincolns, a roll of nickels and two rolls of quarters. tonight's score boosted my 2025 running total to $806. that's crazy. last year I only picked just under $350 in total. and cycle 19's total has passed the $200-mark.

for years I've been trying to manifest a roll of quarters at an air-vac. that was pretty close: I got a jar instead of a quarter wrapper & had a few other coins in it that weren't quarters. not exactly what I was trying for, but close enough. now I need for that to happen once a week.

i picked just fifty-nine cents tonight, but I also scored three loaves of publix bakery's bread from the winn-dixie parking lot, oddly enough. all three were in a publix brown paper bag. unopened, undamaged, went home with me. i'll redistribute them. I bought two loaves of bread just one night ago, and I've still got a lot of hot dog buns, so I'm loaded-up on breads already. each loaf was $3.99.
