MrPink2018 Pillar of the Community United States 2504 Posts	Posted 11/26/2025 02:26 am things I think about... i notice that we have a minor weather event passing through our region, we have three days of north wind action, which means i'll be monitoring the interior corner of a certain plaza where leaves & debris collects during strong north wind nights... those nights will be Thursday, Friday & Saturday, and since Thursday is Thanksgiving, I won't expect to find anything because I doubt there'll be anything open in that plaza on that day, it's possible, but not probable... but Friday & Saturday... Black Friday & Black Saturday... different story... the first two shopping days of xmas '25 shopping season... and strong north winds... and people who tempt fate by playing with their cash in the parking lot on a windy day... the odds of my finding cash in that corner go way up... i'll be ready thursday night as I have no special plans for Thanksgiving Report this Post to the Staff

Looking forward to seeing your scores! Mate and I visited several pawn shops yesterday looking for a 1" lug wrench for her tractor. I got the tire off with a socket, breaker bar, and cheater pipe but a lug wrench would be better. Anyway, one of the shops had bullion and coins that will be on sale at melt on Black Friday. I'm grateful for everything and I give thanks for it all: mostly fabulous weather, cat/s, coins, cash, gold, silver, health, bike, brain, time, luck/kitty karma, friends, patrons, tribe, and ccf. these are all good and necessary (it can be argued, however, that the brain has issues, often works weirdly, but still works ). I had to attend a meeting of the local tourist guide association. There were no spaces in my usual parking lot, so I had to use another one, where you have to pay in advance by feeding coins into a ticket machine. When I worked out the cost of my ticket, I realised that I was 15 pence short in coins (I had several £5 notes, but the machine only took coins). Then I looked down and there on the ground was a 20p piece! I'm afraid I didn't photograph it - I was so relieved that I just fed it quickly into the machine! I hope it dries up, it's been very humid the past few nights. I doubt i'll find much tonight, there was probably not a lot of spending going on today, but i'll be out there looking anyway, right after I get the cats fed. i had a non-traditional dinner of popcorn chicken, mashed potatoes & noodles & chicken gravy and steamed baby carrots. I almost made biscuits, maybe tomorrow. no dessert, so i'll probably cook an apple later. Report this Post to the Staff
