to tell you the truth, I'm tired of it. it used to be more lucrative, it used to be easy and it used to be 'fun'. it's none of that anymore. i'd really like to hit the $5K milestone, just to make it that far (because I've gone this far already), and it'll probably happen, but it'll likely take the rest of the year to do it. if I can scratch up just $20 a month july through december it'll happen, but there's no guarantee. I'm lucky if I can find $15-$20 a month now. it used to be easy to pull in $40 a month or more... but i'll not waste any more of this space by griping about what it is now vs. what it used to be. i'll try to hang on long enough to hit the $5K milestone. one benjamin would do it. the search continues...

Well, I hope you keep on finding that elusive $20/month.

Quote: griping about what it is now vs. what it used to be the money faeries must have heard me complaining; tonight I picked a well-scattered $2.18, my second $2+ night in june. the first score was earlier in the evening... I liberated two nickels, five dimes and a gold-plated quarter from the publix coinstar's reject tray, along with a five cent coin from the bahamas: eighty-five cents to start the night. I went out later and rustled-up another $1.33.

tonight I picked my first dollar bill in two months. it is also only the 2nd dollar I've found this year. also found a dime, so $1.10 on the night. I only fed the kitties tonight, I didn't ride around my usual route; I've been unwell the past few days, I'm thinking food poisoning, but I really don't know.

Nice rescue of that wild bill, MrPink! I hope that you're back up to full strength soon - that money isn't going to pick itself up.

Food poisoning sux. Worst feeling in the world. Please take care and seek professional help if things don't get better quickly. The kitties need you and the streets, parking lots and drive thru lanes need you too to keep them free and clear of loose round metal discs and wild paper cabbage!

Be resolute! All that 'wild' money needs a good foster home--up to you to provide it!
