Yesterday was my last day in the States. The shuttle got me back to Houston airport so early that I decided to get a city bus to the downtown area and have a stroll and get something to eat before checking-in for my flight. On the sidewalk by the bus stop at the airport I saw a shiny red cent. I picked it up, and was amazed to find...  I have never found any 2009 cents in circulation before and never found any in the rolls I've obtained from banks on my various visits to the States since they were minted! Edited by NumisRob

in the month of march I picked a total of $35.46, mostly well-scattered change. cycle 17's running total has reached $141.02.  joy. |

it's been a few days since I last posted anything; I've been consumed by work, mentally & physically, and finds of late have been less than average & not tremendously interesting, not much to talk about.. last night I went out not realizing I had left my iphone (and glasses) atop a fountain I had watered before leaving. worse, I was using the flashlight function when I left it there, so the light was on for two hours while I was out putzing around,  i realized I had done that about halfway thru my night, so I got to steppin' on the back half. and wouldn't you know it, I plucked my first wild buck in several weeks last night, no phone to get a trophy pic... but still worthy of :  ..a few nights ago my pickins were under a dollar, tho I managed to also find a pair of road-rashed canadian cents, 1985 & 1989, and a 2022 mexican $5 peso coin:  the silver eagle is my pocket piece, I didn't find it somewhere.
