The 1955D BIE with the note "B605" on the obverse is the Cohen Index number and can be found on page 45 in her book the 1969 edition of "THE CLASSIFICATION AND VALUE OF ERRORS ON THE Lincoln Cent".
These holders show us that Margood also made holders for BIE's. Sorry no images of the close-up the die chips as I do not break the coins out of the holders which are older than a lot of the members of this forum
Arnold Margolis (deceased) along with Mort Goodman (deceased) were the face of the error hobby In the 1960s when Goodman got to New York and finally met Arnie, the two became fast friends, starting Mar-Good, a company that issued the very first coin boards to hold errors.

Margood made holders for Lincoln Cents "wheat & memorial", Jefferson nickels & Roosevelt dimes.

Interesting custom 2x2. Here is the best I can do to enhance your BIE die chip:

Need to see the coin in the raw. The 2X2 is not helping us see the coin.

After Christmas I'll research it more but it could be the LDB4-1955D-021 4FL+.

I also have some holders with Hardy Index #'s. I post them when I get back to my office and get a Hardy # for this one.

Merry Christmas everyone!!
