In 2007 The Mint came out with the uncirrulated dollar set.
The set contains the 4(four)pres,one sac and one eagle.
I received one set that has three pres, two sacs, and one american
eagle.
With this error would it add much value to this set?
Thanks rickp

So it looks just like this but with a blank hole? Assuming the packaging hasn't been tampered with and is completely sealed I could see this is a small premium.

Haven't seen one of these up close. How are the sealed
Got Pics?

I think he meant that one of the presidents was missing, and there was an extra Sacagewea.

No really any extra value, it's just a packaging error. It's like a mint set that's missing a coin and has two of another one. A mild curiosity that typically brings about one dollar more.

Problem with these things is that they are indeed packaging errors, but if the set were broken up you have a number of completely normal coins. This, to error coin collectos, is of no interest.

Now, people who collect the sets with packaging errors might be interested, but they wouldn't categorize their collection as an 'error coin' collection...because the coins therein are not errors.

I've had 60s proof sets with extra coins (1960 with extra dime, 1963 with extra cent) and I have seen sets with coins packaged backwards (reverse side up). I just pass over these as normal sets.

Well, that's just it....I don't buy them if they don't contain doubled dies. If I open them and find the extra coins, I cut them apart and sell the pieces and make a little off of them. I don't save them as 'error sets'. I just treat them like they are normal.
