@Nobile03, I see the region that you are describing (great use of red circles!) and agree that it looks a bit like a capital letter D. I suspect that the size of this region is a little smaller than an actual mintmark and it is just Pareidolia playing with our minds.

I agree - just a coincidental impression created by environmental and circulation effects.

Too small to be a mint mark. Possible split plating and a rise of the zinc on that area.
