I agree. But you are catching on. The devices are enlarged as E&V mentioned, but note how they are squashed? The will make anything look larger. Seems like zinc cents are easier to be flattened than the copper ones. But on the '8' your looking for the right thing, the bottom look distorted. But not so with your coin, it was flattened. But you know one when you spot it.
