My son picked this up off of the end table a little while ago and said he thought it looked strange I doubt he could see it but I checked it out anyway.

I will try the first pic the chin and under the bowtie The ear is just slightly to the southeast.

Looks normal. What are you seeing as doubled?

Maybe I am seeing things, I was right the first time lobe is South southeast.

The shiny spot under the right side of the bowtie and the beard isn't smooth as it should be down around the bottom.

That is part of the design. If it is lower part of the tie.

I should know better than to argue with you guys by now you are all right I was checking the details against a newer coin when I got another 84 they looked the same. Never to be discouraged moving on.
