Hello, this is my first of what I presume to be Many Many error posts.
So please tell me I'm not the only one who sees that the D is at an angle and not fully centered. Is it a known error and or worth anything? More than face value.

@jonah, first welcome to CCF. Second, I look forward to seeing more threads of yours. With respect to the specific coin that you have posted and the slightly off axis mint mark, you may be interested to know that at that time the mint marks were still being applied by hand to the dies and so off-angle and unusual location mintmarks are somewhat common. This CCF earlier thread has more info:

1989 was the last year of the hand punched dies happened. Starting in 1990, the mint marks are part of the design on the master die. So all coins from that mint will have the Samantha mark, same location and thus took RPMs out of the equation. If the mint marks are doubled after that it would be from MD or a doubled die. A lot of mint marks after that year are affected with die wear. But a few dies do have DDOs on the date and mint mark area, but not very often.
