Have you ever posted on a coin and have this happen? The other day a post was moved from one forum to this one. Then I made a comment about a learning lesson. Then it got moved back to another forum. Well I finally found it.

Someone question why it was moved here, but I picked up on a point that everyone was missing. The die state of the coin. But finally bring it back for another presence here as the subject is of interest to those on the forum also.

More than once. Some may wonder why I sign my comments the same with "Thanks, Doug." every time inside a topic. It actually began with my first email account many years ago.

1. To show my interest or thanks in someone sharing the topic coin or related information.

2. The search function doesn't key off the users name.

3. If I need to recall or search a past topic and would like to reference it later, I can narrow down my search results with a "key word" along with "thanks, doug". In general the search results are narrowed down to topics I replied too.

Doesn't work if the moderators delete the comments or topic though.

Case in point several months back an old topic was resurrected, which I commented on. I commented on a possible dropped letter that was not previously pointed out. Turned to research it again and it vanished.

I went 3 days and 3 nights with no food, no water or no sleep trying to relocate it, which I never did find it again. Thanks, Doug.

Sometimes the person who creates the thread will delete it. I've asked them before and that is what happened.

I'm thinking that option is available during the first 24hr's. I was checking one of my older post and found no delete option. Thanks, Doug.
