I've been wondering about this.. If you find a doubled die in a bank roll, are your chances greater that they could all be doubled dies? I have a roll of 1964p.

Multiple die pairs fed that roll. In LSC rolls I find about eight from any given pair. I have found 15 in one roll from the same die pair.

Yes, if it is truly an OBW roll of cents and you find a doubled die, it is likely you will find multiple. All 50 of them being the same doubled die is still unlikely.

What is the procedure of handling the coins after striking them. I picture the new coins being fed into a central hopper from several presses at the same time, then the coins cleaned and dried on some form of conveyor system.
If that is the case the number of matching coins could vary tremendously.

I have no idea how it's done, I just speculated from other forms of mass stamping I've seen.

I have found as many as 19 is one roll. But on different rolls I found examples of 17 different die pairs in the same roll. So there is no rule on these.

If you find one good die in a roll there is a good chance there will be more. I bought two mint sewn bags of a certain date and both contained a doubled die. Between the two bags I ended up with about 400 examples of this die. Thats alot but do the math and thats only two per roll.
On the other hand I picked up two tubed 1942 rolls and half of them were 1942P DDR 007. https://coppercoins.com/lincoln/die...ie_state=mds
Just luck of the draw.
Best of luck to you !
