I'd like to hear your opinion, is this a Struck Through Grease or a foreign object! I did not expect this when I got it, as you see from the seller's pic. I was just expecting a Greaser. But once in hand and under the scope, the vertical parallel lines and uneven field became evident. What do you think?

I'm going with struck through a piece of cloth. The press people have plenty of rags in their area.

But there no texture like you would see on a cloth struck through: But is looks like grease, grit and possible paper. But is a struck through '?' for sure.

Thanks Kanga and coop I am also thinking that it may be more than just the grease but not quite sure.

Chase007, I really like that error coin you bought! Definitely very pleasing to the naked eye.

Seems struck through for sure. Exactly what still has me scratching. Seems grease and or debris making an odd formation. The sudden stop is puzzling. Thanks, Doug.

Same here Doug, that's what got me thinking as well, the formation doesn't seem to be just the ordinary Struck Through Grease!
