Last night I had a chance to look in a family memebers coin jar and see if there were any wheaties, War Nickels, etc. There weren't too many coins and I wasn't expecting to find anything. In the end I found 3 wheaties, 2 Buffalo nickels, and 2 War Nickels. I don't think I did too bad.

You said found. Did you have to pay for any of them? Did you keep all of them? If all free from a relative, that is really a good deal.

Nope, not a dime. They just said I could take what I wanted. To them all it was was a jar full of loose change.

Give them some chocolate coins in exchange. It encourages such deals. You might have another relative come forward and ask for the same deal, so keep some chocolate coins on hand just in case. Or tey to.

Yeah. I was definitely surprised with my finds. I was really surprised with the fact that it was only a little mason jar full of coins. Not like a life long savings.
