Even with the bad picture I can see it's a fake. Hummmm, some friend you have there! Sounds like he was trying to scam you IMO....unless he offered to sell it for a quarter.

Yes this was quite the interesting conversation. And I should say by friend, I meant local antique collector I've seen around town. He posted this and I saw it right away and asked him to go with me to have it graded. He didn't like that and got mad, about the same time y'all answered my post haha. I sure hope some one doesn't fall for that and lose so much money!
