This is probably the best example I have found of an absolute rotten obverse strike on an 1982 zinc cent. The pictures are rudimentary but hopefully adequately show the issues I am not familiar with grease/die deterioration? Note the depression or ridge along the rim. I labeled it a greasier in 2017 and forgot about it for the last 2 years. There seem to be multiple problems on this one, Glad it made it out of the mint 36 years ago. Thanks in advance for your help. Poor Abe.

There is definite Die Deterioration present, but that doesn't explain the appearance of the obverse. It does look to have been Struck Through Grease.

The image was too small and when you enlarged it, it pixelated. But I see nothing special on it.

I know what this is called. The tops of "IGWT" is cut off, do to a thing called Peripheral Die Expansion and Erosion. It can be found on some Lincoln Memorial Cents from 1982. http://www.error-ref.com/peripheral...and-erosion/

All of this is caused by Die Deterioration.

Much thanks Errers very intresting, coop the pics. are blurry as the coin is blurry will try a shot in natural light. Coin still has some original mint state red coloring, and a fantastic orange peel effect emanating from center towards rim.
Let me see what I can do. Thanks for the help.
