Error On A Pack Of $1 2013 Star Notes

westernsky Pillar of the Community United States 7613 Posts	Posted 01/21/2019 12:18 pm I noticed that same issue the other day on some new notes I received out of the Kroger self check out change dispenser. Mine are regular 2013's from the L-T block. They were printed at the Fort Worth BEP. If you look at the back of the note you'll see small spots of black ink where that portion of the portrait would touch the sheet above it and could possibly transfer wet ink. Looks like the BEP has some quality issues going on with ink not being allowed to dry properly before the next sheet falls on to it. I'll try to post some pics later this evening. westernsky Pillar of the Community United States 7613 Posts	Posted 01/21/2019 12:42 pm Evidently, they print these things so fast now that the ink isn't even allowed to dry properly. The wet ink on Washington's coat just soaks onto the back of the note above it in the corresponding position. I don't think of it as an "error" in the true sense of the word.
