Usually these are seen with a half moon cut out. This I believe is another plachette pucnched on the edge of the stock. I don't see the blakesley effect & I'm not sure if that pertains here being a sheet edge instead of a circular cut out. Enjoy !

Neither do I, but it is my understanding that this is not seen on 100% of clips. This is still a very nice example.

It is on the obverse. This is the real deal. Looks like a straight clip. The cut was over the edge of the stock, thus no cutting marks, just the edge of the stock material. Nice find.
