I can't find this listed on ebay, past or present. And nothing on the coin identifying the mint.

It is a generic silver round. The design is changed enough to allow it. Worth melt.

It might not even be silver at all.

It was sold to me by a local dealer as silver bullion, with other rounds, but mostly a bunch of this one. The weight was right for the bunch I tested, which should be a good sign.

I could try testing it, if you think that's a good idea.

It's hallmark so if the weight's good you are fine. There are millions of these ASE knockoffs floating around.

It looks like it has several die cracks, as well. Not that it matters on a round like this...

I have several of them, and today I thought it couldn't make one worth less if I added some toning...

ebay will tell us how interesting on Sunday March 3, when the auction closes. (I'm running it between Feb. 21 and March 3 to maximize the exposure.)

To me, it's worth spot, but I'm often surprised at the prices fetched by some rounds.

I've gotten quite a range of results when I've tried to tone silver coins, using hard boiled eggs as the source of sulfur. The worst is when it just looks like some blotchy coffee stains.
