Hello, I am going through my mothers older collection (all ungraded) as she wished for me to sell it for my father. As I consider which coins warrant grading or pricing, I just want to get some of your thoughts on this coins grade. Thank you in advance

Harshly cleaned/whizzed. Worth around silver melt value at most coin shops. An individual collector might pay a little bit above melt for it.

Is that whizzed, or overly dipped? I would think it would take an acid to pit a coin, or any metal that bad. Agreed though, melt value.

A very poor job of whizzing.

Thank you everyone- Have never dipped or whizzed and so have not seen the potential damage done if performed harshly/incorrectly. Her other coins are in very circulated to high mint state. I'm also a variety seeker so going through them carefully. This was not typical and so wanted an opinion and appreciate the education. Thanks again
