I do see what your saying, but in person my "2" specifically looks like the small date ine. Thanks for that reference

Maybe you're right and its just wishful thinking!:p I actually have 3 of them, 2 with the D mint and one with no mint. The lettering looks sort of refined on one of them with the D mint. But now I'm not so sure, Ive been staring at the 3 of them for so long!
