Can you please explain what these images are supposed to show?
Second question, how would it be possible for a cent die to be clashed with a 50 Cent die?

There are actually a few die clashes varieties for the 1857 cent. Take a look here,

This particular one appears to be S-9 and is relatively "common", with many graded MS-65 examples known.

Mark is showing here what appears to be S-7, which is a much scarcer variety of this clash.
