1996 Quarter, Looks Like 2 Curved Clips In Same Clip

DaWolfster Valued Member United States 139 Posts	Posted 01/26/2019 10:31 pm Hey all. Didn't know how to put it in the title. Looks like two separate curve clips together. I have a lot of double and triple clips, I just cant seem to figure out how this can happen like shown, looking how the planchet would lie on the webbing. The coin has a nice Blakesley effect as well as the (thick, copper,thin - thin,copper,thick) for verification. I haven't seen this before, pretty neat. ~Wolfie Report this Post to the Staff

This one just happened to stand out from the ones I have (making error lots for ebay). The only wild finds I seem to get are the MAD's, cracks, chips, I seem to do better with serial numbers and stars on bills in the wild! Report this Post to the Staff

Time will tell. But probably worth more than other double curved clips. This shouldn't of happened. Report this Post to the Staff
