When I hold it up to my ear, I can hear the dremmel. It is another of my early purchases. They must have started with the reverse because it doesn't have hardly any ridges around the devices, and got bored/lazy on the obverse.
The only thing, with the wear and the dremmel removing material, it still weighs 12.3 gr, I would think it would be less

Very cool obverse doubling, though.

Did the whizzing create the doubling affect, or was that already on the original coin?

Careless whizzing created the doubling. The whizzer did not get close enough to the devices, leaving 3 levels of metal... the raised details, the original metal and the new freshly whizzed surface.
