Picked up a few ancient coins last week and thought I would share. Discription from WildWinds.

Corinth. Circa 345-307 BC. AR Stater. Pegasos flying left; koppa below / Helmeted head of Athena left, helmet decorated with olive-wreath; A-P below neck, plough behind.

Neat - these so often have one side messed up, so nice details on both sides is great. The Koppa stands for 'Korinth', but I'm not sure what the A-P stands for. The various symbols behind Athena must mean something too - but that is lost to time!

Thanks for posting @cf. is the true color of this coin silver? I'm assuming that your camera set-up and lighting have caused the golden hue.

I took pictures with phone at kitchen table. The lights cast a yellowish hue.
Here is another picture different lighting.

Pleasing coin, with a reasonably well centered strike.

Thanks all for the kind words. Will be posting a few more coins in upcoming days. Been focusing on ancients as of late. A bit intimidating at first, so much to learn. Finally feeling better about buying coins in the raw.
