I found a few Mercury dimes and this is just one of twenty.

I don't think they need anything but protection.

What do you all think about this dime? Should I keep it?

So what are the other years and mints of the other 19? And if you collect coins then sure you should keep them,

"Should I keep it?"
Naw, - the '42 is just a spender!

Just make sure that whatever you buy with it, is is for it's full numismatic value.

One of the best wartime era dimes I have seen!
I have a '20D in about the same condition, but much darker, yours looks a lot better than mine.

So far as protection goes, best for it not to acquire any more patina. Protection should be air tight.
Looks best if as close to blast white as possible.

I don't know if this is how I load a group of Mercury dimes but I will give it a try.

There are alot of dine and I just post one reverse and the other obverse.

Are they keepers?

Fantastic. IF you don't want them, you could send them to me. I'll even pay postage. You should read up on those. Appears that some are what is called FSB or Full Steel Bands or close to that.

Sure, keep them, why not?

So where did you find them?

They're at least worth melt, with the first one having somewhat of a small premium.
