1920 Whaet Penny...possible lamination error? Has anyone ever seen this possible error?

looks like a partial plating issue, like the penny was plated and some of the plating has been worn off.
edited for typo.

to CCF. Not a plated cent. Looks like something is "stuck" on the coin. Not an error. John1

Looks like it was in someone's book or piece of jewelry (hard adhesive). I find those from time to time.

To CCF! Just a damaged coin. Someone plated it.

After strike, I'm thinking someone thought a little solder drizzled over, might enhance there bowl of Wheaties. Thanks, Doug.

Looks like some foreign substance like tape or glue, then removed to reveal protected surface of the coin under it. Outer edges just normal aging.

Weight? If it is over weight, it maybe something added to the coin. If normal weight it may have had something struck onto the coin. Depends on the Weight So I guess we will wait.

I'm not sure about the weight. I'll have to see if my grandfather had anything he weighed coins with. I think another picture, different angle could be helpful?
