I was wondering if anyone on CC has used this auction site. Are they pretty reputable? Any helpful info? Thanks.

Hi Cabomhm,
I've purchased several of my nicest coins from Heritage, without any problems or regrets (well, there was one raw Half Cent that came back as "cleaned" from the grading service, but Heritage did offer to take it back). Their "permanent auction archives" on the website is a great resource and you can sign up to use it for free.

On the downside, I haven't won any Heritage auctions for several years. The coins that appeal to me always get bid up past my limit. That would be a good thing for the seller, but not so much for me. My recent high-ticket purchases came from trusted dealers at coin shows and a few from dealer web sites.

I'd sign up with them; if you never buy a coin it still won't cost anything.

Good luck! If you do win some coins, please share them on the forum!

Heritage is a very reputable auction house. I've bought from them several times. If you're looking for steals like on ebay, they are going to be tough to come by. Also don't forget that there is a buyers premium added to every transaction.

I bought an item from them in May and they're shipping is really fast. I got it a day after I paid.
