I am still learn and maybe some can recommend a book for me.

I found this cent 2013 and believe there is some doubling on the date.

It definitely is not a DDO. It looks pretty normal to my eyes.

Using two lights is making it look like something thing it is not. On the DDO's for the shield cents the devices look like over inflated tubes.

Note the spread on these devices? Look at the centers of the devices, not at the edges of the devices. On the edges of the devices you will find Machine Doubling, Die Deterioration and as on your coin, excess glare drawing the eyes away from the tops of the devices.
