I love Delamination coins.

I found this together with 2 other 75-D LMC. I love it when the delamination is still attached, and this one has 2 of them.

Thank you GC. I'm not sure which is my favorite error, Laminations or Die Cracks ?
I don't understand what takes place exactly on a lamination error ?

Great find! I like the size of the delamination on the bust. A keeper in my book.

Added: here's some info on laminations:

Hope that can help.

Awesome find! Definitely worth keeping in a 2x2.

I very carefully rinsed it in acetone, then directly into a 2X2. After it was completely dry of course.

That's a nice one for us Lam fans! Having the folded-over peel still attached makes it better.

believe me I was sweating bullets while cleaning the coin. The last thing I wanted was to break that flap off.
There are two attached flaps on the one coin. How can a coin servive45 years and not lose that piece ?

I'm thinking these are struck through debris rather than a lamination issue. If the coin is 3.11gr or higher that maybe the case. If it is less, then I would be thinking a lamination issue. Usually lamination flows in a straight line. This does fit that description to me?
