Thank you GC. I'm not sure which is my favorite error, Laminations or Die Cracks ? I don't understand what takes place exactly on a lamination error ?

I very carefully rinsed it in acetone, then directly into a 2X2. After it was completely dry of course.

That's a nice one for us Lam fans!  Having the folded-over peel still attached makes it better.

believe me I was sweating bullets while cleaning the coin. The last thing I wanted was to break that flap off. There are two attached flaps on the one coin. How can a coin servive45 years and not lose that piece ?

I'm thinking these are struck through debris rather than a lamination issue. If the coin is 3.11gr or higher that maybe the case. If it is less, then I would be thinking a lamination issue. Usually lamination flows in a straight line. This does fit that description to me?
