I'll vote 83.

Edit: I revisited and compared it to 82 and 83 sample pictures. I'm sticking with my initial guess.

It's 1882. You can tell by the bottom of the numeral. It's a scarce date so the coin will have some sort of premium, but not too much.

I've had it in the 1882 album slot but admit to being uncertain. I generated a fresh image and magnified the date.

Can't be an 1883. The 1883 logotype had the digits unusually far apart. The space between the second 8 and the fourth digit is too close together to be an 83.

It's most likely an 1882 based on logotype of the date punch spacing.
