Hello everyone! I would like to know if anyone has ever heard of or seen this coin and if its an error variety or not?
The coin in question is a 1992 D Lincoln Cent with visible doubling on both the obverse and reverse of the coin this coin is of the Wide AM type. Would this coin be worth getting graded or would I just be wasting my money? Does a Lincoln variety like this even exist in the records? I cant seem to locate a coin of this type anywhere.
Any knowledge about this coin would be very much appreciated with much gratitude.
Thank you all!
babyangel

Other than Die Deterioration Doubling on the date , I don't see any doubling!unless you can zoom in on the devices that you see is doubled.

The reverse has Die Deterioration Doubling on both sides of the building. This issue is common and adds no value to the coin.

Thank you all for your very valuable and honest opinion. I have been asked to get a close up of the areas where I believe there is doubling present. I take pictures with my phone and it dosent always seem to get the clearest images but I did what I was able to with getting these images for you all to show the (what I believe to be doubling) I hope to have a much better camera soon so I can take much better and clean pictures of more of the coins that I would like to share with you all. Thank you again hope these images help in some way.

Ok so... I took the advice of sir John and I got a magnifier. Here is an image that shows the areas where I believe there is double dye.

Unfortunately, it's not a Doubled Die. It's Die Deterioration Doubling as mentioned before. This was caused by a worn die issue, from striking a ton of planchets at the U.S. Mint. http://www.error-ref.com/die-deteri...on-doubling/
