I have a 1949 s Wheat penny that I think has a couple errors, first the I on liberty is completely crooked and I could be wrong but the s underneath the date seems much to high am I crazy? Anyone have a professional option?

To the CCF Neither one is an error. The I has taken a hit that has moved it over. The Mint Marks were hand stamped into the dies so position can very.

The I is where it took a hit from circulation wear. Remember this, the mintmarks where hand punched until 1989. It could be anywhere as long as it's underneath the date. Your cent is normal.

@LK, first welcome to CCF. Second, yes sorry I agree with @jimmyD. As a S-mint Wheat cent, there is a small premium on this coin so it is worth more than face value. However, neither of these identified characteristics improve the numismatic value.

I found this penny today in my change from the store. I believe this is a 1919 s...difficult to tell because of strike mark but when you tilt it looks like the last two numbers are 19. The T at the end of Trust is missing and looks like the B in Liberty is actually an upside down R. What's your thoughts?

@Smokind23, first welcome to CCF. Second, while it is best practice to start your own (new) thread when posting coins, I am happy to answer as many of your questions as I can. That gouge on the date is unfortunate and while 1919 is a possible date, it is pretty hard to know for sure. Some of the details of this coin may have been struck lightly (for example through a thin layer of grease), which would explain the missing T in TRUST; however, this coin has seen enough circulation wear over the decades, that it might also have been just fine when minted. The "upside-down" R in LIBERTY is just damage that has pushed the metal around a little bit to make the letter look like a different shape.
