1982 No Mint Mark Copper Penny With Errors

Hello I am fairly new to the coin collecting world. I was hoping to get advice on a 1982 copper penny I found with no mint mark and a split that I believe happened while it was being minted. Is this a rare strike error?

to CCF. It does look to be copper,3.1 grams,but it is damaged not an error.Looks like some type of scissors were used on it.

Thank you for your reply at first I thought the same but then I notice the "S" on States seems to be stamped on top of the cut...
I will try and post a better visual of it.
Please let me know if you can see what I noticed.
