I agree, they are die chips and at one time they were popular on ebay and they were being sold as * Extra Claw* which has long been faded from popularity!

I have a book just for them. Not anymore value unless you try selling on ebay.

These were a very common place for Die Chips on these Quarters. It was fairly common.
