I have different types of coins collection please visit https://www. oriental-coins dot com quote: Originally posted by djluster
Thought it would be fun to see what other are buy, so I thought I would start a buy of the week thread. If you feel you bought something of to much value and think it might be risky posting don't. So post your buy of the week or coins you add to your collection can be mulitple items or just one. If you don't buy every week then post your monthly buys. you can either list it or post a picture. Here is mine I know the week is not over but spent my coin money for the week. 1st 2006 Pcgs ms69 frist strike American silver eagle(no no I didn't get it off TV). 2nd 2001 silver American eagle (9 more to go) 3rd 5 Mercury dimes for my G-VF set (4 more to go) bought 1918-P,1919-D,1927-D,1926-S,1927-D so there are mine notheing fansy but what I hope to post weekly since I go to the coin shop at least once a week. here is the picture of the dimes I bought I have put them in my album already so you will have to see them in the book
would post a pic of my american sliver eagle but you all know what a BU eagle looks like

It's not a coin but IS a super deal, Got this 4 ounces of 22kt Gold for $230. He sold it on ebay as a Bronze piece. This medal was struck to mark the Royal Agricultural Society Exhibition at Windsor in 1889. The show was held in Windsor Great Park from the 24th to 29th of June 1889. The Prince of Wales acted on behalf of Queen Victoria who was President of the Society for that year. The Queen attended on the 27th and 28th and also knighted the Director of the Show on the 30th. The medal is hollow and was made in two halves, making this an unusual British medal for that period. It was designed and executed by Countess F. Gleichen. The reference for the medal is BHM #3379 and is shown only as being struck in bronze. It is also designated as very rare. 77mm dia. and it weighs 114.3grams. It has a NAVY blue leather medal case... on the top it has a gilt CROWN.
