Went to my coin shop today, and my wife far out-spent me.

I bought a Proof 1976 Ike and put it in an air-tite. It looks real nice, I think.

Also bought the 2007 D and P Sacagaweas to catch that collection almost up to date. Still need the 2007 Proof.

And, finally got tired of waiting to see if Congress will authorize the silver Presidential coins, and so purchased a U.S. Presidential dollars Dansco Album.

My wife will post what she bought later. MountainLady picked up a few nice coins!

I am a retired teacher, however I have a part time job with Archway, and spend what I earn on either vacations or coins for the most part.

After a trip to the coin shop today our family has its very first platinum coin -- 1/10 ounce.

I also bought 1/10 ounce gold Maple Leaf and a 1/10 ounce gold Panda.

Finally, I purchased a French 1/2 ounce gold rooster.

I plan to enjoy these coins for a long time to come, and then maybe someday they will help pay for something special.

I should add to my previous post that I bought the D and P Sacagaweas, and ordered a Dansco Album for my Presidential dollars collection.

Was lucky enough to purchase this one. Had 2 already but not with the envelope. A Bahama/NZ 2c Mule.

That is not a 'strike through' it is the result of a clashed die.
Still nice.

Hi, Yesterday I got some P mint Statehood Quarters which helped my collection get a little closer to being up to date.

Our one coin show of the year was on this weekend. It was as dissappointing as I expected it to be. Two coin dealers only, and only one had any real stock. I still picked up a few things though.
