When I first came across this coin last months, I thought NICE. Then I thought is it fake (because it didn't have sharp details without the scratches I am use to seeing on LMCs)?

So, I weighed it; 3.xx something grams (forgot exact).
Then I am thinking maybe this is due to Die Deterioration. But for both sides?

I don't know. Anyone?

Is it just me or does it look like it was dipped in acid at one point? Something just doesn't look right here.

I was also thinking maybe it was copper platted because of the lack of detail.

Reverse surfaces in particular appear etched in some way. Certainly not a natural color.
