Looks pretty normal to me. Mint marks were hand punched until 1990,so they vary in position. Yours is within mint tolerance. John1

Mintmark locations varied, since they were punched in by hand until 1989.

Hi Guys, I got this thread from a list that said "active", so I assumed I had to post it on an active thread, BUT I'm new here so I appreciate the information. I sold it to a guy who loves those types of errors, he also said there are more dramatic rotations out there...again, Thank you.
