Very cool Lam, as everyone knows I am a big fan of them. Soak it in Acetone for a couple of hours to give it a fresher look and then into a 2X2.

Personally I wouldn't change or clean the coin at all. Its all about originality and a solvent dip isn't going to improve that.
Great find, Shirley

Shirley Lodge, 100% pure Acetone is safe and won't harm the coin at all. It's the only thing that's safe to use on coins. How do I know this? I know, because I use it all of the time to get grime and crud off coins.
Errers and Varietys.
Rest in Peace

Never use anything on BU or Proof coins. They don't like anything on them. If you remove any of the surface on the coin, it remove the cartwheels and glow. Best to leave variety coins surfaces alone. Why mess them up. They make look better today, but in 10 years what can happen to them?

A well circulated coin of this age with all that build up can use a nice Acetone bath and refresh! it won't harm it ,let alone it'll perk it up.But as coop advised you don't wanna mess with Unc. coins.
