Hey I'm new to collecting, I was wondering if anyone had any idea of what this note might be worth? Thank you so much. Pic below. Edited by Lush 02/17/2019 12:04 am

Hi Lush and welcome to the forum ... that's a very nice radar repeater that you have there! I'm not sure of values when it comes to these (probably what someone is willing to pay for it) but I'm sure that there would be quite a lot of interest if it was listed on ebay.

Unfortunately the reality at the moment is there is not much interest in Australia. You might get an offer on ebay of $45. Keep the photo and spend the note.At least you can look back in the future and say I had that note once.

not worth much more than face value sadly however there will be collectors if it is in a good condition maybe $70.

I beg to disagree with the last two valuations ... not only is this a radar, but it also a repeat BINARY radar. As I have already stated, I'm no expert, but I would expect to see more value in a note of this calibre.

true, but it has a crease so that why I value around 70ish. However it still depends on buyer, market in Australian for these notes is very small.

It is, including the year.

Printed in year 2010 (first two digits)
Just curious: What is the value of 10011001 (binary) in the decimal system?
The fact that the S/N is a binary radar does attract some extra attention.

First off, congrats on a great numbered note "Lush." It's a 2 digit radar & repeater. Definite "keeper" and should be worth north of $70 (depending on condition). Quote: Is it a rotator as well? I don't think 1 count for rotators since they have serifs (small hooks at the top and bottom of the digit) so only 0, 6, 8 & 9's are typically found in rotators (which should look exactly the same either upside down or upright. However, as some here have noted it is also a binary note (1's & 0's) plus like a US serial has 8 digits rather than 7 or 6 (where radars would be more frequent).
