Just came across this 2018 Lincoln. Looks like a vertical break in his collar of the jacket. Any help?

Can't tell for sure from the image, but if the metal is splashed away from the contact mark then it is damage. It loos like that from what I can see. If it were a struck through, then there would be no splash away from the area in question. (The item struck through would be prevented from splashing outwards because of the die, the struck through item and the coin, would be prevented from showing a metal movement on the coin. I feel I'm seeing that on the upper right side of the trench.

Yes looks like damage to me' but a close-up pic would help confirm.

Looks like a contact mark from Post Strike Damage, rather than a Die Break.

Here's a couple of close ups. I lose the copper color when I get this close.

O.K., a little tighter, losing my vision, lol. Looks like the marks, maybe from polishing, going from top left of jacket to bottom right go over the indention. Which would lead me to believe the mark was made before the polishing process. Or am I just way over thinking this.

Just a coin contact mark, not an error.
